Boilerplate is going to be a star! The plucky robot soldier created by Paul Guinan has reportedly been optioned for a major motion picture under the wing of J. J. Abrams, the nice fellow who brought you that wonderfully accurate Star Trek adaptation a couple years ago.

NASA has sent out an all-points bulletin looking for "moon trees"-- grown from seeds which circled the moon 34 times during the Apollo 14 mission. If you know the whereabouts of one of these trees or its descendants, please contact Dave Williams at the Goddard Space Flight Center.
